WELCOME TO L'ABRI

L'abri is a christian community and study center where you'll have the opportunity to seek answers to honest questions about God and the significance of human life. L’Abri believes that Christianity speaks to all aspects of life.

WHO ARE WE?

L’Abri is the French word for “shelter”. It is a place where people are welcomed and challenged to seek answers to their personal questions about life and faith. Everyone is welcome irrespective of background or faith.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Study times are a significant part of the day at L’Abri. The other part of the day is spent with practical tasks of everyday life: cooking, working at the garden, cleaning... All tasks that become the background for relationships to develop in the community.

LECTURES

The Christian faith is relevant to all aspects of life, not just a narrow "spiritual" aspect. We are constantly figuring this out in lectures and presentations on society, culture, politics, science, art, and human relations.
